Hidden Moldova is an independent editorial project. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
What data we collect
We do not collect personal data such as names, emails, or payment information. When you consent to analytics, Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data: pages visited, approximate location (city-level from IP), browser type, and device type. This data cannot identify you personally.
Why we collect it
Anonymised analytics help us understand which places and categories readers find most useful, so we can improve the editorial content and site experience.
How consent works
No analytics script runs until you explicitly accept. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and is never sent to our servers. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which will re-prompt the consent banner.
Third-party services
The only third-party service that receives data is Google Analytics, and only after you consent. Google's own privacy policy governs how they handle that data. Embedded Google Maps tiles also load from Google servers, which may involve standard Google service requests.
Your rights
